Mariko Baika's acting passion goes all the way back to school when she acted in acting club and voiced for the broadcasting committee. She has always been the voice of her client and working to convey messages – whether through writing, interpreting, interviewing, or leading diplomatic missions. And regardless of the methods, one thing she has been good at is encouraging listeners or readers. Perhaps that’s because of her bright energy and the tone of voice, which is always clear and easy to listen to, and yet convincing.

With her extensive career that involves the Japanese and English languages, she can help editing scripts as well. She has managed projects involving multiple nationalities for nearly 20 years in the U.S., and understands clients’ goals and reflect them in her services. She delivers quality backed by her experiences and passion.

She resides in the greater Washington D.C. area in the United States.

Born to parents from Osaka, grew up in Tokyo, lived in Germany and Mexico, worked for nearly two decades in the U.S., she speaks Japanese (Tokyo standard and Osaka dialect), English, and some German and Spanish.

She has translated, interpreted, and edited between Japanese and English for various types of clients. Her articles appeared in magazines and newspaper as well, and she understands the languages very well.
